Current Information:Age-24 311, Upper Richmond Road, Putney Potijze Burial Ground Cemetery, Belgium On 19th July, 1915, 16th London (Westminster Rifles), then part of 18 Brigade, 6th Division, moved into the front line in trenches south of the Verlorenhoek road in the north-east part of the Ypres salient, where they remained until 26th July. During this week there was the usual sniper and artillery activity by both sides which resulted in the deaths of four men from 16th London, including Rifleman Coxon on 21st July. |
